Trying to find a cover for LP gas tanks is difficult. The suppliers of big tanks have special covers to protect the valves and regulators located on the top, but if you use one or two of the 100 pound (20 gallon) tanks, you are out of luck. This size tank is ideal for cabins or homes that only have small or light-duty propane appliances, but the valve is still subject to being inaccessible due to snow or ice. Often the regulator is located in that location as well, making it more important to protect.
